The Use of the Project Method in the Formation of Students’ Research Culture

Abstract

The article explores the possibility of using an educational project based on the Monte Carlo method to form a research culture of students. Using the example of using the project method when working with students, one of the options for the formation of students’ research culture was considered. In the course of the project, each group of students independently set tasks that needed to be completed. One of the groups used the Monte Carlo method as an object of research when finding a certain integral depending on the number of plays, the scope of this method of the second group was the calculation of the values of the Laplace function for several argument values and the evaluation of the accuracy of the method.
