Abstract: The article is devoted to the professional competencies set formation for bachelor’s and master’s in Applied Mathematics and Informatics according to the requirements of professional standards. The features of the indicator choice for the professional competencies achievement following the principles of continuity in the training of students in the directions 01.03.02 - Computational mathematics and mathematical modeling and 01.04.02 - Mathematical modeling in the educational practice of the North-Caucasus Federal University have been studied. Professional competencies formation method of a graduate based on labor functions, enshrined in professional standards and requested by employers is considered. Productive forms of the professional component of educational programs in the field of applied mathematics and informatics in NCFU, are revealed.
