Abstract: This article deals with the problem of teaching mathematics in a technical university using modern information systems and technologies. The relevance of the use of computer learning tools, their educational capabilities in the professionally oriented mathematical training of a young specialist in a modern technical university is demonstrated. The purpose of the work is to show the role and importance of computer information technologies in the process of training engineering personnel. The main topic of the article is to consider the use of computer teaching aids in the study of mathematics, as well as in the study of professional disciplines. The authors believe that the experience of using various ICT tools in their practical activities led to the conclusion that computer learning tools are the most appropriate for teaching mathematics at a technical university. The methodology proposed in the paper considers the educational process with the use of computer learning tools as a joint activity of a student and a teacher. In this methodology, a special place is occupied by the process of creating computer learning tools. The computer tools used should correspond to the objectives of the lesson, the topic being studied, contribute to a better perception of information, and facilitate the learning process. The use of modern computer learning tools in the educational process contributes to the professional orientation of the acquired knowledge. The proposed technology of mathematical training of students based on computer learning tools reflects the results of their own work experience.
