dc.description.abstractThis article shows that the methods of digital recording and interpretation of facts in education make it possible to: effectively build trajectories of personal development; create digital profiles of students; control the learning process, increasing its effectiveness by registering and analyzing the digital footprint using modern information technologies. Attention is drawn to the practice of teaching in higher educational institutions, the essence of the concept of “digital footprint” in education, the type of footprint collected depending on the information system used. The paper shows that one of the ways to improve the quality of education is to analyze the results of students’ assimilation of the content of an academic discipline by collecting and analyzing a digital footprint. Methods for analyzing a digital footprint and using the results obtained for the modernization of an academic discipline are considered. The results obtained according to the data of the pedagogical experiment conducted according to the results of testing of undergraduates are presented.ru
