Abstract

The research deals with the analysis of digital maturity viewed as one of the most significant indices of successful regional economic development. The research seeks to investigate the correlation between the digital maturity of a digital region and its economic performance. Much emphasis is put on the impact of digital technologies on the success of various aspects of regional development. The first part of the research is devoted to an overview of the concept of digital maturity and its significance in the context of regional economic policy. It discusses the key dimensions of digital maturity, including infrastructure, skills, and innovation capacity, as well as their role in driving economic growth at the regional level. The second part of the research focuses on the case study of the Stavropol Territory, which has relatively successfully implemented digital technologies and enhanced its economic performance. Overall, the research argues that digital maturity is an important factor in determining the economic success of a region and a powerful tool for promoting innovation and increasing economic efficiency. By recognizing the necessity to introduce advanced technologies, which is reflected in the digital maturity index, regional leaders can propose more effective strategies to support the digital transformation of regional economies and ensure long-term prosperity.
