dc.description.abstractThe reaction of thioacetamide, cyanothioacetamide, thiourea, 3-aryl-2-cyanothioacrylamides, (cyclohexylidene)cyanothioacetamide, or thiosemicarbazide with N-aryl-2-chloroacetamides in the presence of KOH in ethanol proceeds with the formation of the same products―2,2′-thiobis(N-arylacetamides)―in 62–93% yields. Structure of the products was confirmed by IR, NMR spectroscopy, and high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS).ru
