| dc.description.abstract | In the context of growing risks, a fundamentally new way of protecting information from unauthorized changes is being implemented. Unlike traditional centralized systems, in which data changes occur through hacking and falsification, a distributed registry ensures transparency and security of stored data in cryptographic links and a consensus verification mechanism. This approach is of particular value for the financial sector, where guaranteed uniqueness of transactions is required, as well as for system document flow, which leads to the creation of secure registries of diplomas, patents and legally significant documents. The practical implementation of such solutions is already effective: the Ethereum platform is used to verify academic certificates, and Hyperledger Fabric is used in supply chains of goods with identification of origin. However, despite the obvious advantages, further implementation of technologies retains scalability issues, high requirements for computing resources and the lack of a single standard. However, as smart contracts gradually develop and consensus algorithms are optimized, constant development continues to strengthen its position as a reliable tool for ensuring data security in the digital world. | ru |
