Abstract: The paper describes a model of alarm signal search in a channel of a monitoring object on the basis of the Wald sequential analysis procedure. A two-stage algorithm for analyzing the states of the objects in the alarm data acquisition system is proposed. A discrete implementation of the Wald procedure using linear automata based on reversible shift registers is presented. The conditions for presentation of the alarm data acquisition system are defined in the form of a queuing system model, in which waiting elements in the queue are the reversible registers, and a service unit is a device for polling objects at the second stage
