Abstract: The article analyzes approaches to solving the problem of identifying the parameters of a PI equivalent circuit for a power transmission line (PTL) based on information obtained using telemetry and vector recorders. To assess the results of determining the parameters of the transmission line model, it is proposed to study the limiting error by the method of partial derivatives. The calculation and analysis of partial derivatives of active and capacitive conductivity, active and inductive resistance for a 220-750 kV line at various power transmission modes have been performed
