dc.description.abstractThe article deals with the formation and development of the competencies of the digital economy among teachers. The concept of digitalization of society and education is considered, the factors influencing the relevance of this process are analyzed, it is indicated that one of the trends in modern education is digitalization. It is concluded that the transition to the digital economy should significantly change the education system, the key element of the transformation of which is the corresponding competencies of teachers. The competencies of the digital economy have been formulated for both teachers and heads of educational organizations. A model for the development of competencies of the digital economy in an educational organization is proposed, an example of its implementation in TSPU named after L.N.
