Abstract: Purpose: banking management is a type of management activity aimed at achieving certain goals with the effective use of the bank’s resources. The application of banking management allows you to solve problems arising in the process of commercial bank activity: financial tasks, banking, socio-psychological and others. Design/methodology/approach: The research presents the conceptual framework for banking management, which forms the basis for effective management of a commercial bank. Findings: Banking management is a commercial bank management system based on the implementation of certain measures by the commercial bank divisions, which are aimed at ensuring the continuous movement of funds in a credit institution in order to achieve macroeconomic and microeconomic goals of the commercial bank. Originality/value: During the analysis, the authors expanded the semantic essence of banking management as an economic category, interpreted as a multidimensional economic category, the functionality of which extends to the development of relevant information for making management decisions of banking structures, through analytical support and economic interpretation of retrospective and promising data regarding the functioning of segments and the stability of a commercial bank
