Abstract: The article reveals the peculiarities of business tourism development in the Caucasus Mineralnye Vody region. There are specific features of business tourism associated with the specifics of the sanatorium-resort orientation of the region's infrastructure. Design/methodology/approach: The research is based on the principles of objectivity and systematics, as well as historicism. In work the following methods were used: analysis, synthesis, comparison, comparison, description. Findings: The development of the business tourism segment depends primarily on the availability and condition of the appropriate accommodation infrastructure and platforms for business events. Recently, new accommodation facilities have appeared in the CMV region, which are equipped with everything necessary for major business events. A feature of CMV is the active functioning of the sanatorium and resort complex of the region in the business tourism segment. Most sanatoriums in the resort region provide hotel accommodation (with or without meals and the opportunity to use the additional infrastructure of the sanatorium) without providing medical services. Originality/value: Many sanatoriums are fully equipped with all the necessary infrastructure for conducting business events. Hotels and sanatoriums that do not have infrastructure conditions in their structure for the development of business tourism can be recommended to organize mutually beneficial cooperation with large exhibition and conference venues of the CMV region that do not have their own accommodation facilities. You should also pay attention to collaboration with business hotels in the region. The most promising areas for sanatoriums in the region today are business tourism, such as intensive tourism and Bleisure tourism
