Abstract: An analytical method for determining the interval of spatial correlation of fades has been developed based on the analysis of fluctuations in the amplitude-phase front of a decameter wave during its propagation through the ionosphere with small-scale inhomogeneities of the electron concentration. Its analytical dependence on the characteristic scales of inhomogeneities and the standard deviation of the fluctuations of the wave phase front at the outlet of the inhomogeneous ionosphere has been obtained
