Prospects for technological growth of Russia in terms of digitalization of the economy

Abstract

The role of technological progress in the processes of globalization at the present stage is justified; the positive and negative aspects of the intensifica-tion of scientific and technological development of Russia and the prospects of technological growth of the country’s economy are analyzed. The aim of the study is to identify ways to reduce the technological gap between Russia and developed countries. The main result of the study is the introduction of new models of economic development. Besides, prospective directions of development of digitalization of the sphere of scientific and technological development of the country are investigated. In this regard, the basic principles and directions of development of state policy in the field of technological development are considered. The conclusion is made about the effectiveness of competent management of the processes of scientific and technological development, both within the world economy and the Russian economy.
