Abstract: The processing of gypsum-bearing industrial waste is of great importance since its proliferation consumes valuable land and poses an environmental hazard. However, such waste is also promising for use in the production of commercial goods in various economic sectors. A uniform processing approach is impractical in view of the divergent physicochemical properties of industrial waste. The present work discusses the design of cyclones suitable for use in recycling gypsum-bearing industrial waste.
