Abstract: This article presents methods for stability assessing, based on the study of distributed systems' modeling results. The conditions of Popov criterion for distributed control systems applicability is revealed. The dependence the slope-intercept of a straight line limiting the nonlinearity on the generalized coordinate is determined. The analysis of the possibilities of using this method stability-determining margin of a hydrogeological object's control system is carried out.
