dc.description.abstractThe paper is concerned with the interpretation of problems in higher legal education, as well as organization of educational process and management process. Design/methodology/approach The authors analyze modern legal and conceptual aspects in the field of legal education to highlight several gaps and shortcomings associated with the growing digitalization, crisis phenomena, pandemic, and the prospects for further improvement of legal education. Findings The authors attempted to draw attention to consideration of problems of legal education and legal consciousness at the current stage due to the fact that students fail to understand, to perceive this aspect of speculative discussions and do not feel their importance for practical activity, while holding a smartphone in their hands all the time. Consideration is given to certain aspects of educational management. The issues of efficiency of state legal reforms in the educational process at the present time and in the future are discussed separately. Originality/value The authors advance the idea according to which the problems that hinder and accompany the problem-specific approach to the digitalization and informatization of contemporary legal education have not been examined thus far. There are several suggestions on the methods of selection of applicants for law schools. The authors point to the fact that within the scope of the methodological approach, we need to cover a certain aspect of the relationship between the state and an individual; a problem that has been exercising the minds of mankind at all times. The research has shown that the role of the state, its public and legal regulation, and the resolution of pressing problems in terms of protecting its state and each of its members has increased multiple times.ru
