Abstract: The authors review the mathematical modeling methods for complex systems. To optimize the modeling, the authors developed a database on the electric capacitance of a cell with a magnetic nanofluid microlayer. The statistical analysis resulted in the justified acceptance of the IBM SPSS Statistics software for the statistical processing of the data and the construction of the regression models for the changes in the electric capacity of magnetic nanofluid microlayers
