| Abstract: | The authors substantiate the idea that the joint struggle of the Russian-German politicians and the military became one of the factors in the defeat of Napoleon. The article analyzes the measures taken by the Russian authorities aimed at organizing the resettlement sentiments of German peasants at the time of the aggravation of the international situation at the beginning of the 19th century. The article focuses on the policy of the Russian Empire regarding the colonists, as a result of which there have been changes in approaches to determining their qualitative composition, rules for admission and placement. |
