THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION DURING THE PERIOD OF CONSTITUTIONAL CONSTRUCTION IN 1992-1993

Abstract

This article is devoted to the analysis of the development of the constitutional process in the Russian Federation in the early 1990s. The authors examine the features of Russia's domestic political development in 1992-1993, explore the causes and consequences of the political confrontation between the highest executive and legislative authorities in the country, study the ideological platforms and economic priorities of the warring parties, their policy regarding relations with regional elites, explore the political concept, which served as the basis for the development of the Constitution of the Russian Federation in 1993 and justify the need for amendments (2020, summer).
