Development of renewable energy sources in China in 2000s - 2010s: economic and legal aspects

Abstract

This article is devoted to the analysis of the formation and development of the process of exploitation of alternative energy sources in the People's Republic of China in the first decades of the 21st century. The authors consider the specificfeatures of the Chinese national economy in the 2000s - 2010s, which largely determined the new vector of the PRC's energy strategy. The legislative framework developed by Chinese legal scholars, which has accelerated the process of introducing renewable energy sources into Chinese industry, is being studied.
