| Abstract: | One of the most promising areas where it is planned to use OFDM transmission systems is the global space Internet OneWeb. It proposes to use OFDM technology based on the 5G standard for the organization of information and telemetry systems of air transport in high latitudes. The transition to new technologies will allow for a faster flow of information and minimum network delays not exceeding 1 ms. To achieve the goals set in the 5G standard, it is proposed to implement broadband transmission using comb filtering FBMC (Filter Bank MultiCarrier) or universal filtering UFMC (Universal Filtered MultiCarrier). The conducted studies have shown that the use of the UFMC method allows for better subcarrier filtration compared to FBMC comb filtration. However, the use of this method requires large computational costs, which negatively affects the speed of information transmission and network delays. Therefore, the purpose of the article is to reduce the magnitude of network delays when using UFMC signal filtering technology by using a fast algorithm for performing a number-theoretic transform (NTT). So, the development of a fast algorithm for performing number-theoretic signal transforms for OFDM systems that support the 5G standard is an urgent task. |
