Abstract: To improve the efficiency of hydrocarbon (HC) field development and design of geological and technological measures based on available data, it is advisable to study not only the geological conditions of deposits and oil and gas fields, but also geodynamic conditions. It should be especially noted that when searching for the exploration of hydrocarbon deposits in the studied areas, geodynamic conditions were practically not taken into account before, due to the lack of both a theoretical basis and a reliable methodology. This paper presents the results of geodynamic analysis and the obvious practical significance of its application in individual fields of the study areas. The purpose of the study is to study the geodynamic conditions of Western Siberia and the Eastern Ciscaucasia, in order to identify the most promising areas for the development of hydrocarbon deposits based on oil and gas geological zoning. Research methods: During the study, an integrated approach was used, including analysis, systematization and generalization of geological and field data, the use of a system-aerospace (lineament) method, as well as a little-known method of interpreting central type structures (CST). Work results: The relationship between the geodynamic conditions for the formation of hydrocarbon deposits and the maximum flow rates of wells, which are confined to geodynamic centers and interference zones (superposition of compression zones and extension zones), as well as zones of subvertical destruction, has been revealed. This relationship allows us to give recommendations for further development of deposits.
