Artificial intelligence is one of the most discussed and promising technologies in our time. It finds application in various fields of science, such as medicine, economics, law, tourism and many others. However, along with the potential benefits, the use of artificial intelligence also carries certain risks. This scientific article analyzes the main risks that arise when using artificial intelligence in scientific research and practice. One of the main risks is the potential threat to data confidentiality. Collecting and processing large volumes of information requires a high level of security to prevent unauthorized access to personal data and confidential research materials. Another significant risk is the lack of transparency of artificial intelligence algorithms. In many cases, especially in deep machine learning, the algorithms can be complex and unclear to researchers and the public. This can lead to unpredictable results and make decisions difficult to understand. The need for transparency is a pressing issue when introducing artificial intelligence technologies. The article examines the ethical aspects of the use of artificial intelligence in scientific research and the application of artificial intelligence technologies in practice. Questions arise about the proper use of artificial intelligence, especially in the context of human life and safety issues or the use of algorithms to make important decisions, for example, in making medical diagnoses, court decisions and legal advice. The risks associated with the use of artificial intelligence in the financial sphere are considered. Automation and analytical capabilities of artificial intelligence can lead to incorrect data analysis and incorrect market forecasts, which can lead to financial losses. In addition, there is a danger of using artificial intelligence to manipulate the market and create financial bubbles. The article highlights the risks associated with the use of artificial intelligence in various fields of science. Understanding these risks will allow us to develop precautionary measures and effective strategies to maximize the benefits of using artificial intelligence and at the same time minimize potential negative consequences.ru
