| Abstract: | This article describes the experience of using the Maple computer algebra system and Maplet interactive applications built on its basis in the educational process in the study of mathematical induction in the preparation of future teachers of mathematics and computer science. The authors analyzed the scientific literature on the use of information technology in the study of discrete mathematics. Maplets interactive applications have been improved for conducting practical classes on the study of mathematical logic within the framework of the discipline "Discrete Mathematics". The Maple computer algebra system is used, designed for computer modeling of processes used in performing actions to prove equalities (sum), divisibility and inequalities using the method of mathematical induction. Questioning, observation, performance of control work, as well as analytical and interactive methods of the Maple computer algebra system were used as research methods. The results and analysis of the conducted experiments on the implementation of proofs, using the Maple system, checking equalities, divisibility and inequalities are presented. The theoretical and/or practical significance of the work is related to the evaluation of the effectiveness of the use of computer modeling and experimentation in Maple, a number of advantages are identified that improve the quality of the educational process and evaluate them. |
