Abstract: In this paper we consider a simple algorithm of the identification parameter of an overhead line with a simultaneous compensation of systematic errors of measuring systems based on the correlation coefficients determined by minimizing resistances and conductivities of a PI-equivalent model of the overhead-line of the sum of the currents' square measured at the ends of the line. The algorithm efficiency is demonstrated by the example of real data from the PMU of 500 kV overhead line
