Influence of blockers of slow calcium channels on the processes of proliferation and collagenogenesis of fibroblasts in the formation of spices in the abdominal cavity

Abstract

Based on the results of the studies, it was found that the modeling of hemoperitoneum at the adhesion stage is accompanied by an increase in the proliferation of fibroblasts: an increase in the mitotic index by a factor of 5, the level of the Ki-67 proliferation marker by a factor of 8, and the enhancement of their collagen-synthetic function: a 4-fold increase in the formation of protein-bound oxyproline. Verapamil and diltiazem reduce the excessive activity of fibroblasts at the stage of formation of adhesions by regulating their proliferative and collagen-synthetic functions, reducing the number of mitoses by 58.5 %, the number of Ki-67+ cells by 59.2 %, the excess production of oxyproline by 66.7 %. The normalizing effect of verapamil on fibroblasts is 1.8 times higher than that of diltiazem. Nifedipine has no antiproliferative effect on cells
