Abstract: | This paper describes the algorithm to calculate the dependency between corona losses and voltage based on PMU data. Corona losses per unit length under good weather, rain, light rain and snow, which occurred in a real 500 kV transmission line in the southern part of Russia were investigated and compared with the corresponding functions, described previously in the literature. The introduced algorithm could be used for online voltage optimal control |
