dc.description.abstract | General information about ice-wind accidents on overhead transmission lines (OHL) in distribution electric networks is given/ The authors point to the need for an ice melting system on OHL wires which is confirmed by operating experience and regulatory documents. Innovative solutions for the ice melting system on the OHLs as part of an intellectual ice melting system, which is planned to be implemented in the subsidiaries and affiliates of PJSC Rosseti, are proposed. The automation of melting and the observability of ice formation and the electrical network allow eliminating 'technological vulnerability points' of the electrical network and to improve characteristics of reliability of consumer power supply. Already installed controlled ice melting plants were proposed to be supplemented with a high-voltage ice melting switch, thereby replacing ice melting disconnectors, managed by personnel, which will increase the effectiveness of ice melting systems. The factors determining planned technical and economic benefits from introduction of intellectual ice melting system on the wires of an OHL of electrical networks are indicated | ru |
