One of the most popular satellite communication functions is determining the location of an object. However, the GPS / GLONASS signals are negatively affected by the ionosphere and the artificial ionospheric formations arising in it. Compared to other sources of distortion of GPS/GLONASS navigation field signals, the ionosphere makes the largest contribution to the error in determining the position of the RBLA. Existing methods of attenuating the effects of ionospheric disturbances cannot fully satisfy the requirements of practice. One of the promising solutions is the use of an automatic system for monitoring and controlling the state of satellite communication channels. However, the functioning of this system inevitably leads to errors of the first and second kind. The article presents the formulation and solution of the problem of determining the optimal thresholds for classifying the state of transionospheric communication channels during signal fading in accordance with the Rice distributionru
