Abstract: Considered herein is the functioning of the electronic document management system, under conditions of the developing methods and means of cryptanalysis of a likely intruder. Proposed is the structural and functional decomposition of the storage subsystem on the circuit of operative and long-term storage of electronic documents. Presented is a method for monitoring the integrity of electronic documents on the basis of cryptographic hashing methods, taking into account the structural features of electronic documents, as well as requirements to the retention time and security of information in the automated systems of railway transport. There have been calculated the probabilities of transition of the electronic document management system into a hazardous state, using the logical-probabilistic method of calculation.
