Abstract: The need to create an adequate monitoring system for the hydrolithosphere of the resort and recreational region of Caucasian Mineral Waters requires the use of modern research and forecasting methods. The growing technogenic load on the natural environment requires expanding the scope of the developed model, forcing us to take into account not only geological, but also socio-economic factors. A possible solution seems to be an approach using an agent-based model. Agent-based modeling is a simulation method based on studying the behavior of decentralized agents with settings specified at the individual level. At the same time, it becomes important to correctly select the software with which the agent-based model will be developed.
