Power Outage Warning System

Abstract

This article discusses an alert system designed to inform the public about power outages. The reasons for the occurrence of interruptions are described, as well as the methods and technologies used to create an alert system. Various types of notifications are considered, such as SMS, phone calls, Internet notifications, etc. The authors also analyze the effectiveness of existing notification systems and propose a new software package to solve this problem. The new solution is a combined approach to notification. Software has been developed that allows you to connect any power supply company and thereby affect most of the geography of consumers. The consumer is given the opportunity to choose a convenient notification method by using the application. These innovations are aimed at improving the efficiency of informing in case of power outages. This solution was tested in the laboratory of the North Caucasus Federal University.
