Abstract: The paper considers the fact that distributed computing, cloud technologies and It play a key role in optimizing data processing at all levels of the network, providing flexibility, scalability and high availability of resources. Further development and integration of these technologies will contribute to improving the performance and efficiency of fog systems. The main aspects of reliability, safety and fault tolerance of fog systems are considered. An approach based on modular arithmetic is considered, which will provide advantages.
