Abstract: This article discusses various methods of embedding digital watermarks in textual information, including text formatting changes, metadata usage, linguistic changes, structural changes, frequency changes, and a method based on the moments of the text. First, a detailed description of each of the methods is provided, which helps to understand the essence of the method and find out the distinctive characteristics. Further, a comparative analysis of these methods is carried out, a comparative table is provided and their advantages and disadvantages are revealed. In general, the article gives an idea of the value of watermarks, serves as a short guide, and also emphasizes the relevance of this topic. A detailed analysis of watermark implementation techniques helps to choose the necessary one from a large number of options, according to the necessary and most important features. The article makes it clear the meaning and importance of watermarks, and the comparative part of the methods will help you choose the most advanced.
