| Abstract: | The article considers geological and technical-economic issues of creating underground gas storage facilities (UGS) in geological structures, taking into account new requirements for the technological design of underground reservoirs in carrier beds, due to the actual unevenness of their operation. The main UGS are built in depleted gas, gas condensate and oil fields and in aquifers, as well as in a small number of rock salt deposits, and are classified into objects of simple and complex geological structure. The paper studies the geological structures where UGS have been created, and it was found that the overwhelming majority of created objects are confined to fold traps and brachyanticlines. The results of the geological information analysis showed that most reservoir beds are represented by terrigenous rocks. The results of the study of geological and technical and economic aspects are important to take into account when designing UGS facilities, as well as to ensure the tightness of the facility through the correct choice of a complex of impermeable rocks in the geological structure, allowing to exclude vertical migration of gas from the reservoir beds. The aim of the research is to determine the requirements for the choice of a geological structure in the technological design of UGS in reservoir beds, allowing to ensure the optimal option for UGS operation with uneven gas consumption using the results of the analysis of geological and technical and economic factors. The research methods included systematization of information and analytical studies using field and statistical information obtained from various sources, including electronic resources. Results. Based on the analysis and generalization of geological, field, geophysical, hydrodynamic information, the requirements are proposed for selecting a geological structure in the technological design of UGS in reservoirs, allowing to regulate optimal and safe operation of the deposit in multifunctional conditions. Calculation according to the matrix of options using the balance model, providing for different ratios of active and buffer gas volumes, allows to optimize the process of selecting acceptable options for designing the operating mode of an underground storage facility for the reservoir part. |
