Practice Cases for Digital Pedagogy Olympiad Assignments

Abstract

The digital era began with the transformation of traditional media into digital formats, but this transition was not limited to just technical modification. It progressed, was rethought and embraced all aspects of human existence, including education. Today we are faced with large-scale transformations in the social environment, where digitalization is becoming the basis: digital governance, healthcare, economics and, of course, education. The teaching professional is now faced with the task of finding his place in this new world for every participant in society. One of the methods for preparing such a teacher is to use creative competitions in the educational process, which can inspire future teachers to search for innovative pedagogical approaches, stimulate initiative and readiness to analyze the latest trends in the field of education. This article discusses practical examples (types of tasks), criteria and basic principles underlying the proposed classification of student Olympiads in online format in digital pedagogy. The article provides statistics on the Olympiad “Pedagogical Digital Pedagogy”, which was held in 2024 by the Institute for the Development of Digital Education in Moscow, Russia, at Moscow State Pedagogical University.
