Abstract: The digitization of society and education has initiated changes in teacher training. Disciplines related to the study of digital tools and the possibilities of their use for the organization of the educational process have been introduced into the curricula, and network interaction can be counted among the new trends in the organization of this process in a digital society. The aim of the study was to analyze the necessary changes that should be introduced in the practice of teacher training in the context of digitization of education. It is also of interest for the study to investigate digital tools of the educational environment and the possibilities of organizing training in a distance format in the context of network interaction with teachers of foreign universities. The study focuses on the training of undergraduate students in the field of teacher education, reviews the digital tools used to teach students in the context of digitization of society and education, describes the experience of teaching students about digital technologies.
