| Abstract: | The purpose of the article is to substantiate the importance of using economic and statistical methods to assess the risks associated with regional industrial development. The study focuses on analyzing absolute and relative indicators of volatility, sustainability of growth, and dynamic risks. The research methodology involves a quantitative assessment of industrial production risks, using the North Caucasus Federal District of Russia as a case study. Results indicate significant fluctuations in industrialproduction across different regions, highlighting areas of high risk and instability. The analysis reveals uneven development patterns and emphasizes the need for systematic risk assessment to support industrial sectors effectively. The conclusion underscores that accurate risk diagnostics are crucial for forming regional development strategies and adjusting government management in response to external volatility, ensuring sustainable economic growth and industrial progress in macroregions. |
