Technological entrepreneurship in regional ecosystem: Development model in the Stavropol territory

Abstract

It is recognized that the role of technological entrepreneurship in the region's ecosystem is of paramount importance for the transition of business and society to a new level of development. Nowadays it becomes possible to make a qualitative transition based on connecting the factors of the region's business ecosystems, taking into account the peculiarities of the digital potential of the territory's agents. There is a need for a model of interconnection between the factors in the ecosystems of business, education and society, the combination of which will give a synergistic effect and improve the economy of the region. Purpose of the study: to identify the main attractors (agents, drivers) of a new model of technological development of the region's business environment according to modern digital trends and examples of the global economy and already existing ecosystems, such as financial ecosystems, entrepreneurial innovation ecosystems and other agents. Methods: analysis of substantive theories and examples of technological entrepreneurship, concepts of business ecosystems, country projects and socio-technological concepts, systematic study of elements of the evolution of the innovative and digital world, education systems, arrangement of interaction between them using examples from different countries. The authors propose a model in the form of interconnected elements of eco-infrastructure. The recommended model of technological development of the regional economy presents the key factors for the successful implementation of regional ecosystem models, their factors in the region's business environment and assessment, its communication activity between specifically participants in the technological development of the region (ecosystem subjects).
