Abstract: The AI Tool/Mobile Application for hearing impaired that will help to bridge communication gaps between the hearing and hearing-impaired communities of India, a country that contains more than 63 million hearing-impaired citizens. Such a system utilizes complex technologies including speech recognition, NLP, and computer vision to provide real-time translation, thus enhancing interaction in such vital sectors as health, education, and public services. The AI-based approach therefore tackles the shortcomings of the traditional sign language interpreters: scalable and instant translation, which will make sure that the users, can access crucial services by themselves. The proposed application for Indian Sign Language (ISL) will significantly enhance the quality of life in the lives of the hearing-impaired by promoting social participation and positive interaction in various aspects of the community. It translates from the spoken languages, like English and Hindi, into ISL gestures and vice versa, translating ISL gestures into text or speech.
