Abstract: The article presents information on long-term studies of radon flux density conducted on Mount Beshtau (Caucasian Mineral Waters). The mountain is composed mainly of igneous rocks with a high content of radium-226. In the 1950-70s, a uranium mine operated on the mountain. A mathematical model of radon transfer is presented, the use of which will allow forecasting changes in radon flow from rocks into the atmospheric air depending on changes in temperature and air humidity.
