| Abstract: | Relevance. This article presents the results of a study examining the influence of geological and technological parameters on reservoir structure during the operation of gas fields and underground gas storage facilities. It provides the results of analytical modeling of reservoir destruction processes under fluid filtration conditions. The study examines the mechanism of formation of a near-wall water layer containing gas micro-bubbles, i.e., a layer of microgas emulsion on the surfaces of reservoir pores and channels. The conditions for the existence and manifestation of various displacement regimes are considered. The need to consider the multicomponent composition of a porous medium for solving real-world problems is substantiated, which is possible by complicating the distribution function of structural heterogeneities. The aim of the study is to investigate the mechanism of productive reservoir destruction processes under fluid filtration conditions during the development of hydrocarbon fields and the operation of underground gas storage facilities. The research materials on the mechanisms of reservoir rock failure in productive formations under fluid flow conditions include the results of previous studies in this area and modeling of reservoir failure processes under fluid flow conditions. The research methods are based on general scientific approaches, including analytical and numerical modeling. Results. The mechanism of reservoir destruction processes in productive formations under fluid filtration conditions has been determined. It was defined that changes in dynamic pressure gradients during abrupt and frequent changes in well operating modes are found to be accompanied by the formation of new cracks in the rock mass – occurring both during brittle fracture and in the region of plastic deformation. |
