Abstract: Taking into account soil and climatic conditions, based on measuring the physico-chemical parameters of the soil, meteorological parameters and processing statistical data on climatic conditions, makes it possible to ensure the completeness of the implementation of plant biopotential due to the rational choice of parameters and timing of agrotechnical measures. The controlled parameters vary significantly in the frequency of measurements and the accuracy of the representation. The results of the analysis of the physico-chemical parameters of soils and climatic conditions are summarized in a summary table, the contents of which allow calculations based on the volume of transmitted traffic and the speed of the wireless sensor network channels. Various standards of low-power wireless networks were considered. Based on the specifications of this standard, the effective data transfer rate, current consumption and operating time of the devices were determined at the declared and calculated data transfer rates
