| Abstract: | This paper examines a method for determining the surface temperature of workpieces in the furnace chamber during gas carburization of steel. Based on a mathematical model of heat distribution within the furnace and its walls, the paper proposes identifying the functional relationship between the surface temperature of parts undergoing carburization and the temperature on the outer wall of the furnace. The relevance of this work stems from the need to measure the current surface temperature of workpieces to implement a closed-loop temperature field control system and the impossibility of installing temperature sensors inside the furnace chamber. |
