Abstract: The purpose of our research was to correct existing and develop new models of transport logistics, adapting them specifically for freight companies that transport road materials, equipment and consumables. Design/Methodology/Approach: In turn, due to the significant requirements for cargo transportation services, road construction itself creates great opportunities for the relevant companies. At the same time, the specifics of the road construction business (the number of contractors, the volume of materials delivered, the need for clear coordination of time/effort, etc.) make logistics a key component of this process. Findings: From the point of view of logistics, road construction can be described as a macro system, the ultimate goal of which is to deliver materials and services at the right time to the right place at the right price. As a rule, such logistics systems are based on existing economic flows or are built from the ground up by organizing new ones (rarely). Originality/Value: Our analysis showed that many questions remain open, in particular, in establishing the appropriate terminology and selecting appropriate key indicators and methods for calculating them. In this article, we explained the conceptual and categorical apparatus of transport logistics in the context of the road construction process. Simulation models of fleet management are proposed, as well as some transport and logistics solutions for the delivery of road-building bulk materials (such as sand, gravel, asphalt-concrete mixture, etc.)
