Abstract: The article examines the results of testing first year students of the North-Caucasus Federal University under the international program for assessing the quality of education PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) using the methods of mathematical statistics. The aim of the research is to carry out a comparative analysis of the level of mathematical literacy of university students in the light of modern educational standards in the field of mathematical education.
