| Abstract: | The method of improving the strength of strip-method with the purpose of image masking at transmission in information system by using orthogonal matrices obtained by calculation of eigenvectors of complex-conjugate Hermitian matrices is considered. It is suggested that the use of Hermitian matrices as a source of orthogonal sequences will increase the number of possible variants of generated orthogonal matrices, which will make it more difficult to find these matrices for an attacker. The method of optimization of calculation, generation and storage of Hermitian matrices by using tridiagonal Hermitian matrices is proposed. The specifics of calculating the eigenvectors of Hermitian matrices are described, and their study by the criterion of peaks of autocorrelation and cross-correlation functions, which is important from the aspect of reducing the probability of establishing false synchronization in the communication channel is performed. |
